Default Flashing too fast!

Right, just so you know, I know nothing about car electrics!

My indicators on my JDM WRX have gone a bit funny. The right hand indicators work fine but the left ones flash really fast (but only sometimes). When I put the hazards on the rear indicator on the left is much less bright than the right hand one. I have lexus style lights and the other indicators have been replaced by clear ones. I have unplugged each light in turn and the indicators still flash really fast. What couldbe the problem? is it the relay or something? and if so where is it and where can I get a new one.

Many thanks

Chris

quick answer as it's nearly leaving for work time - generally if the indicators flash quickly there's a bulb out and if they are dim, you've a bad earth connection...

Thanks - now sorted

(it was the indicator bulb! Although it worked it must have been dodgy)
