i did it, took a while to research the necessary info.
Due to warranty issues being my company car, i had to make up jumper harnesses to fit the STI lights to the std bugeye car wiring loom plugs.
If its your own car, chopping the connectors off and hard wiring them in is simpler.

If you want my "guide" to doing it, i can email it to you. Contact me on
nick@mtaltd.co.uk.

The most expensive items are the STI light units. But it looks so much better than std. or the Morette twin conversion.

I'm thinking the same, presume the STi lights are only available through Subaru uk themselves? (cant see them on Japanparts) or does anyone supply a good 'copy' which have the glass covers?

mine were £665 pair from UK dealer (Lancaster Sevenoaks - now no more).
Took some persuading as they said it couldn't be done, but fair play they did order them.
If got the part no's if you want them.

I still haven't wired in the tilt mechanism cos i just havent had the time to take the car off the road for long enough to do this - there is quite a lot of work involved in this part of the install.

I make harnesses to put the bugeye STi (H1 and 9005) headlamps into a UK H4 equipped car. I make levelling harnesses to use a proper JDM 6 wire switch into a UK H4 equipped car. All use factory connectors on all the ends. No cutting or splilcing required - if you want to go back to complete stock, it's simple and painless.

Wagons -Ho - yeah have you priced them? I did follow your progress on sourcing the connectors on Nasioc and now sounds like you've got the harnesses made up.
There's potential here as i dont think any one else is going to buy the quantities you did to get the OEM connectors.

I make:
USDM 9007 to H1 and 9005 (EDM or JDM) 65USD shipped
USDM 9007 to HID and 9005 (JDM HID) 65USD shipped
USDM H1 to HID (2003-2004-2005 USDM to HID) 65USD shipped
H4 to H1 and 9005 (putting EDM or JDM on a non-USDM car) 65USD shipped
H4 to HID an 9005 (putting JDM HID on a non-USDM car) 65USD shipped
Levelling harnesses for all of the above (they're the same, but different than your EU/UK levelling setup - as they use a 6-wire switch, not 4)
UK300 levelling harnesses - I have the parts to build, but no UK300 in my hands
Levelling harnesses are 100USD shipped, harnesses with proper switch is 170USD shipped.
Orciari levelling and lighting harnesses - I have all the parts and have built one set. Complete set is 150 including switch.

Buy a lighting harness and a levelling harness setup and save 20 bux.
