Hello there, I was hoping that possibly someone the other side of the pond could help me out. I've searched all the relevant forums and came up empty handed so far. I'm working on installing a rear fog lamp in my Scooby. I managed to get the proper fog lamp switch, however it's not as simple as I thought it would be. (it never is) Unlike my front fog lamp switch, the rear one is similar to the cruse control switch. It is not a simple on off switch. I was hoping that someone could possibly provide me with the pin out for the switch or a scan of the wiring. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've looked at diagrams from manuals here in the US but none include the rear fog lamp.

Not sure on this one. How many pins are there? Have you taken into account there is an indication lamp on the switch which illuminates when "on"? Not knowing the set up of the switch I can't really help, but the lamp thing might help you suss it out.

 

There are 6 Pins, the same configuration as the front fog lamp and cruise control. 4 across on side and 2 on the other. I used a 12V power supply and a multimeter and managed to determine the dash light (pins 2 and 6) is all. I was ableto get a wiring diagram from Australia but it was for the on/off type switch not this one. I was contacted by a chap over your way and he will possibly be sending me what I need. I have some close up pics of the switch. The inside is a small IC board, very confusing.
