Adjusting PIAA's
#1
They've been fitted for about a year now, but one of the lamps has started to droop. I've looked under the car and the back of the lamp but it's all enclosed So, before I start removing bits from the car has anyone got any idea how I go about tightening it up?
Any suggestions appreciated.....
Cheers

They could have been fitted two ways:
1) By drilling a hole with a hole cutter through the backing plate that is behind the bumper, to give clearance for the 17mm lamp mounting nut, in which case they should come away complete with mounting bracket by just undoing the three Pozi headed screws behind the lamp, accessed round the edge of the lamp. The lamp will then come away complete with mounting bracket and the fixing nut can be accessed.
2) The lamp may have been mounted to its bracket, plus the body, by drilling through the backing plate into the body and fixing the nut at the back of the bumper. If so, you will have to get underneath and remove the plastic splash guards behund/underneath the bumper.
1) Is the most common, and the easiest to remove, try it first.....adjustment is then self explanatory.

I fitted my first set the second way, and my second set the first way LOL. Once you get the plastic splash covers off underneath it is in fact easier to adjust the lamps (or to get them pointing the right direction) when they are fitted the second way.

Hi
Mine will move up and down by pressing or pulling on the top of the lamps even though I did the nuts up very tight. It is only when adjusting side to side that I remove them.
