I have a UK '95 Turbo (4 door) and am trying to find out if the speakers in the doors are 16cm like the ones on the rear shelf but no one seems to know.

Do any of you Scoobynuts know coz I cn't be doing with taking my door appart unless i'm going to change them.

Fitted a set of JBL 16's Last month into a 93 WRX, not modifying at all, just went straight in I'll let you know the exact model number for reference if you wish, but I'll have to wait until I get home

 

GTO 602's, have built in tweeter (cos I couldn't be bothered setting up seperate ones - I'd rather listen to the engine )
These fitted straight in with no spacers/mods and made a big difference. I too have left the backs as standard.

Yeah the front an back 1s r the same size
I had them all out recently.

Yup, they're the same. Sorry for the delay, I don't wander in here that often . Moreover, they don't let me out...

 

I put Pioneer TSE1695 3 way speakers in my doors, about £60 a pair.

Sound Ok as well
