All,

I had my scooby broken into last week. I had left it in our office carpark for a couple of days while travelling abroad on business.

They smashed the drivers window (282 inc vat and fitting) and stole my CD player (yes like an idiot I had left the front on as it is supposed to be a secure car park)

My question is this, what is supposed to happen with the alarm fitted to the MY99 ?

One of the guys even stuck his head into the window opening the next day. The LED was flashing but no alarm ??

Anybody know if its possible to disable the internal sensors ? how do I re enable them ?

The good news is that it looks like my company is going to pick up the bill as it is company policy to park at the office when travelling and take cab into heathrow.

Thanks in advance

What a bummer!
Had my STI wheels stolen last Sunday so know how you feel. Interstingly, my alarm light was flasing but we did not hear the alarm. I plan to investigate beefing the system up, however, everyone says "if they want it, they will have it"

If your alarm is the Sigma unit on later cars it should have gone off, when I left my window open my jaclet blowing in the wind set mine off.
