Default Driving Lights Stopped Working - Help Please

Got a MY98 classic and have a headlight conversion done by Subaru using the PIAA headlights. Both lights have stopped working last night and I notice the switch inside the car is not lighting up with the lights on as it normally does. I assume from this that it's not the bulbs but rather something else, fuse maybe.

Anyone know what the cause is likely to be before I go home and start trying to work it out for myself.

Thanks

Fuse on the relay or the relay itself

I would say it was a fuse or loose wire, check the switch .

Thanks for the replies...

I'm slightly less technical than some on here

I looked at the switch, nothing obviously wrong there but it seems to be a sealed unit so cannot check inside the thing. I'll unscrew it from the dash and see if there is some way to look inside later.

Where would I find the fuse on the relay then? If it is the relay anyone know if this is easy to replace or should I just leave it and let the dealer sort it when I trade the car in (could be days but more likely weeks).

Thanks again for the help

Locate the relay and there should be a fuse on the body, it may be under a plastic pull off cover. ( Follow the wiring from the switch )

If you can't find anything obvious, let the dealer have a look because you need to find the fault before you start changing things.

Thanks.

Don't worry, I don't intend messing about with anything unless it's absolutely obvious that I have the right fuse

Quick update...

Went to look at what was causing the problems with my driving lights last night. When I flicked the switch low and behold I had light!! Guess I must have a loose lead after all, will check this over the weekend.

Thanks all.
