Question oil temp sender

I have a Autometer Phantom electric oil pressure gauge. Currently real steel are out of stock of senders. Question is can i use a different suppliers sender ?
If so which one ?

No idea , but Le Mans Motorsport sell sender units on their own. I'm not sure how the meter reads data from the sender. If it's just simple voltage changes, then maybe they are compatible. There's also the question of the connector types between the gauge and the new sender.

The connector between sender and gauge will just be a signal wire so should be ok,
Suppose it depends on the range of temperatures the gauge reads i.e the Autometer reads to 250 think the Le Mans one reads to 150 !

Are you expecting to see 200 deg

Think you would really need to speak to someone techie at Autometer or Le Mans for an answer.
