Default headlight removal wrx03

In the weekend i tried to remove the headlight off my wrx 03 but it just would not move, my fingers are in pain from trying to pull/push it out.

I removed the plastic pins next to grille and along bumper, the 2 bolts ontop of the light and the bolt thats on the white bracket behind the grille. Have I missed a bolt or clip out? I know the outer side of the light has 2 pegs that goes into plugs but i couldnt get them pegs to come out either.

Does the headlight unit need alot of force to pull it out? I wasnt sure where best to apply force incase i snap something or the unit suddenly flies out and scratches the paint. Has anyone got good tips.

Thanks

As long as you've removed the three bolts, then all it should need is a good firm tug. I found it's best to pop the innermost side out first. It's the white bracket that has a lug that locates to the body.

I take it someones detangoing. Or have you simply blown a bulb?

yeah i was hoping to have it detangoed last weekend, but i just could not get it out. I tried pulling the innermost side out first cos i read that somewhere else aswell, but I couldnt even get that bit out. I seem to be using alot of force but the unit not moving much. I give it another go sometime now i know its down to brute force : )

cheers
