Fitting Side Repeaters
You need to carefully push the repeater towards the front of the car. This will compress the plastic spring clip and release the clip from the rear of the repeater. The repeater should pivot on the plastic spring clip and pull free from the rear.

A little (OK LOTS) of WD40 doesn't harm in helping to make it want to slide. I used a knackered credit card to lift the back edge of mine as they didn't want to leave the car what with me pushing and all.

I heard the "pushing the lense to the front of the car" explanation before and it didn't work!!
it was the GF who realised you need to grab the fattest part of the lense and push (& pull) it towards the back.
