am also getting sick of the alarm not working near telephone masts. Can anyone recommend a different make which is reliable?

Apparently subaru do an ECU shield or something which stops the alarm breaking near masts, done under warranty as well.

 

Adam - I have the Sigma manual in Word and text formats. It gives you the instructions for adding a new remote control unit aswell. Drop me an email if you want a copy. As Phil has said, there is a warranty fix for a shield that protects the alarm.
