Default Heater Matrix - Dash Removal

No heating in my 93 WRX RA, guess I'm gonna have to remove the dash and replace the heater matrix. Do you have instructions on removal and where to get hold of required parts.

Nice one

Sim I would be tempted to warm the car up and feel if there is any heat in the heater hoses ( where they pass through the bulkhead under the intercooler ) If they are getting warm ( and are connected to the matrix) then the problem may be just the cable that changes from hot to cold, Or it may be that the matrix is blocked or airlocked if the pipes are not getting hot, if it is blocked you can flush it out with a hosepipe.Unfortunately on my MY97 the matrix was fcuked so I had to change it , which took about 4 hours. I had remove the centre console , gear **** , centre dash , instrument pod and the whole dashboard top.
Theres a **** load of wiring to be disconnected including the airbag cabling and if like me you have aircon you will need to drop the A post brace bar , be careful if you drop the steering column to gain access cos if the column bottom bush comes out its a nightmare to refit with the wheel and column in place.
