Morrette problems - help!
Check the earth path from the mainbeam bulbs.
Is it thick enough wire? (Is the feed to them thick enough too??)
Is it connected to a suitable earth point, or, better still, back to the battery? Does it make good contact?
If these are OK, then put a voltmeter onto the output, (terminal 87) on the Morette relay, and check voltage with engine running, it ought to be somewhere over 13V.
If it isn't, check all feeds to relay, connection of +ve to battery, and relay, and finally suspect the relay.
If you think it might be the relay, connect the lead from terminal 87, direct to the lead from terminal 30. The mains should come on, and they ought to be bright.
