Question

Hi...

I'm considering buying the SECS monitor, but don't really like to have the big socket sitting there - right where my knees are supposed to be.

Does it have to connect there or are there anyother (less visible)way to install it?

Or did I miss something completely??!?

I take it you mean the plug under the wheel... If your legs hit that then you'll be very uncomforatble driving as your knees would be up either side ot the steering wheel!!!!! I'm a big bloke and believe me it will not get in the way....

Hi Guys,

You can actually remove the socket (pull up 2 side clips on the back of the socket - then push the socket back in to the dash). You can then push the plug from the SECs into the socket behind the dashboard and cable tie it up to some other cables up there to keep it from hanging down. You need to get your head and a torch down in the footwell to see what you're doing, but it only takes 10mins once you see what you are doing. I'm a novice and fitted the lot and sorted the plug and socket - TSL told me that you could do this when I bought the unit. Looks much better as well because you don't have the plug and wire sticking out on show - stealth!

Cheers
