Cool

Hi,

Has anyone fitted the HID kit to their Classic style Impreza? If so, was it easy to do, does it make a difference and do they look like the real McCoy as seen on Omegas, Mercs, BM's etc? Is the kit worth the money?

Please help!!

Thanks,

Allen

I've fitted the Belof dual HID kit to my standard headlights. It took a while to work out the wiring as I bought it second hand without instructions, but it is pretty straightforward really. Lights look awesome, and you can actually see to drive now. Mine are correctly adjusted but I still get flashed as they are soooo bright (but they do not dazzle oncoming drivers, I have checked)

Yes, have the Autolamps/Philips group buy kit. As far as looking like the "real McCoy", not quite sure what you're getting at. They're not projector style if that's what you're asking; with the lights off the car looks exactly as it would with regular bulbs.

They do however "burst" into life and the colour temperature starts off very blue until they're warmed up, just like any other HID's. The only thing that really matters though is that they work very well...
