Can anyone assist? They work when I use my headlights, but not when I've got the sides or no lights on?

And the silliest thing is that I was at TSL yesterday getting new brakes and forgot to ask about this - Doh!

Could be a Dodgey flasher unit, Or worse the switch & lever assembly is Duff, Had to replace mine about 2 months ago Grade A subaru said it was quite common.
