Morette reflector problem!
I“ve got the Morette“s for the classic (MY99). Problem is that I“ve got severe corrosion in the reflectors (only high beam/inner reflectors)on both sides.
Is there a way to get hold/replace just the inner lights?
I“m a bit in a hurry “cause the car is up for the MOT in a couple of weeks and it will not pass for sure.

You can probably buy the inner lights through Demon Tweeks, or similar, as they are standard Cibie fittings. Give them a ring, and quote morettes at them, or measure the diameter of the lights before ringing.
I don't think your car would fail an MoT test, as the inners are AUXILLIARY lights, the outers have both main and dip, so you fulfil the requirements there.
If you were worried, you could pull the fuse that supplies the inner's relay, on test day, then they won't come on.
IIRC, cars don't fail for having corroded reflectors on driving lights etc.

Thanks Alcazar!
So they are Cibie“s. Haven“t really looked close.
Should be fairly easy to get hold of then.
Living in Sweden makes a corroded reflektor close to deathrow
Pretty sure failing a MOT with my lights. Maybe unique for Sweden though.
