Bummer

Checking the car over today and noticed I have smashed one one of the len's on one of my Prodrive FF1000's (luckilly non Xenon)

Q - I know I really should get some covers (perhaps a trip to Scoobysport is in order) but does anyone have a spare one (say if they have had had to buy a pair to replace as I have to do) OR now where and how much a replacement will be ?

Help !

Contact Hella tomorrow via their website, and ask them for a local dealer who can order you a lens for one.
In the meantime get your card out and ring Scoobysport.:

I ordered a new lens unit from Hella through Dave Kimberley at Demon Tweeks. This was a xenon unit and the new unit was to change from drive to spot rather than a breakage but makes no odds.

Mike,

Will Prodrive be bringing lamps out for the 03MY WRX?

Question

And another question Mike - is there likely to be lights for the MY03 Sti ?
Currently facing the horrible prospect of dark roads up here in the far north without the PIAA's I'm used to on my soon to be replaced Turbo. And it is not a pleasant prospect ... quicker car, but seeing less distance ... hmmmmmmmmmm.

Martin.

The solution we have found will also fit the STi although you will have to purchase a set of WRX covers. The saving grace is that they are easily interchanged so you can refit the STi covers when necessary.

Mike, I take it these lights will be driving lamps e.g. connected to the full beam, another Q a bit off topic but is there any further info on the springs for the sti8?

Yes they will be driving lamps, in my experience fog lamps are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike

03MY STi Springs are on the way...

Mike, excellent news, I totally agree about the fog lights 'waste of space IMO' I am waiting with baited breath for the release of the spring kit.

Cheers guys.

If you havnt got any covers then i recomend (well i would now ) getting some.

BTW Mike - being as we have gone totally off thread, can you tell me if the MY02 STI PPP kits the dealers are fitting are still the 'PCB add in' ECU's or are they now all like the MY03's - ie reprogrammed ECU's a la Ecutek ?
