Thumbs down

I have found my brakes lights no long work. I checked the fuse (no 16) and even swapped it for the 20A one in no 4 - but nothing. I have also check ALL rear bulbs and all appear OK. The other rear lights appear to work OK.

One thread mentioned that a relay could have gone. Is this possible and what could cause this? It is a MY02 Bugeye WRX by the way.

Any info would be helpful before I head to local Subaru garage.

Question

Have you looked at the brakelight switch located at the top of the brake pedal? It could have a loose wire, loose connection, or the switch itself could be faulty?
Try removing both wires and touching them together if the first two aren't obvious.

Had it fixed today - and it was indeed the switch on the pedal. Thanks to the guys at ProSport (Stockport) who fixed it in 5 mins and did not charge me.
