Alright, those of you that have decided to go the Morette route are you interested in selling you old lights to those of us that might want to upgrade a pre 97 model to the later style lights?
What sort of price would you want bearing in mind there might be a flood in the market?
What are the different sorts of later lights? (didn't they change to clear/crystal lenses later on still?)
Do not get me wrong I am not trying to take advantage of any individual and offere you 20p but would like to take advantage of the general situation and get a good deal as you have
drop me a mail if your interested
Cheers Alistair

No worries to organising the group buy, it only took a week!!!
AliG, bear in mind if you change your headlights for MY97&newer, it will leave a slight gap between your grill and bonnet.
The only way round is to change the bonnet and the grill as well!!!
The MY97/98 ones will look like the ones you have, but just a slightly different shape for the new style of bonnet and grill.
The MY99/00 ones will have a clear/crystal look to them. They offer slightly better light beams, but still not fantastic (as I found out by owning a MY97, MY99 and now a MY00 car!)
Also the UK ones have in-car height adjustment and the Japanese ones don't. So try to buy the right ones for your car, although it shouldn't make a huge difference as the beam direction can be controlled via screws behind the light.
Hope this helps

Andy cheers for the info
I know about the gap problems but that is kind of the Idea as I want update the whole front. You don't want to organise a bonnet group buy so I can pick up the left overs do you

AliG, i have the morettes on mine with the later grill (cost me £15) and still have the old bonnet. So there is no gaps
It actually worked by fault. THe grill is broken a bit at the bottom so the grill leans forward slightly. So no gaps between the lights

Uprated bulbs will of course improve your night vision! Although it may be worth trying them with the standard bulbs first, as you will notice an improvement over the standard lights!!!
Previously I used Philips Vision Plus bulbs (great improvement)
The outer lamps (dipped and main) are H4 bulbs, but I can't remember what the inner lamps (main only) were!! (H2, I think but you need to double check!)
There is a site somewhere that says all 4 four are H4's, but that is wrong!! I know that for sure!!

Mine arrived TODAY. YAY Thank you Andy for arranging this GB and Impreziv for getting my lights to me so quickly. Top job folks.
Hello to the driver who dropped them of. I had seen you drive past in the P1 in the past and could never find where you went to!
