Unhappy

Recently my central locking has started playing up. I remotely unlock the door using the alarm remote and all 4 doors unlock. Sometimes it then locks all but the drivers door straight away and sometimes it waits until I'm a few minutes up the road and then it does it! Other times it doesn't lock any of them. The funny thing is that some days I'll unlock the doors and then it locks them straight away so I'll lock and unlock it again without touching the car and it is fine.
I'm not sure whether it is the central locking (MY95 WRX) or the alarm (Centurion)! Has anyone suffered this before?

HAS YOUR ALARM SYSTEM GOT THE EXTRA MOTOR LOCATED IN BOTTOM OF DRIVERS DOOR TO ENABLE LOCK AND UNLOCK ON KEY FOB??????
SOUNDS AS IF YOU HAVE A LOOSE CONNECTION TO THE MOTOR OR IF YOU UNDO DOOR CARD,WATCH FOR OPERATION OF MOTOR IN ACTION..IT HAS A HOOK AT TOP WHICH ROTATES AND PULLS THE LEVER TO THE CENTRAL LOCKING IN THE DRIVERS DOOR..

THE ERRATIC NATURE SUPPORTS A LOOSE CONNECTION.

TRY ARCHIVES ON THIS TOPIC..

Sounds like you may have a problem with the Alarms CDL unit or the universal CDL motor, which has been fitted to the drivers door locking mechanism. Have a look around behind the drivers side footwell panel and also under the drivers side dash for add on wiring to your alarm system. It could also be a loose connection somewhere.
Gis a shout if you need any more help (but dont tell anyone i'm an auto electrician)
