Bug-eye headlight deflectors
Am off on my hols to visit the land of peace-lovin' Exocet-dealers. However, when I went last year I remember getting to the ferry queue, getting the deflectors out of the packet and crouching down to find the reference marks on the headlight lenses. And of course, there aren't any on a Bug-eye!!
This time do I:
1) shut my eyes and guess where to stick the deflectors again
2) just slap a 6 inch piece of Duck tape right across the lenses
3) don't bother at all (and wind up more Frogs than Tony Blair!)
4) wait for sage Scoobynet advice?
Cheers,
Azide

IIRC this was posted last year, and the answer was that there are no deflectors for a bugeye. You're advised to lower your dips a bit to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. I don't think the bugeye uses the asymetric dip pattern that causes European drivers probs though.

Off to see the cheese eating surrender monkeys, huh? Dunno, if this will help but I have the head light covers and the deflector positioning is clearly marked on them so surely it must be relevant to the "uncovered" lights?
You can also get the AA to fit them at the port provided you buy the deflectors from them. Presumably they still offer this service which was in operation a couple of years ago whereby this nice young lady comes out and fits them according to the directions on her chart.
