Question

Question peeps - if I've never had fogs on my car (it's a non-turbo wagon) but I'm upgrading the bumper to one with fogs, is there any way I can easily wire them up? Can I just piggyback the front fogs onto my side/park lights?

Help much appreciated!

If you do that, they'll be "on" every time you use your sides or headlights. You'd also run the risk of a)blowing the headlight/sidelight fuse, and b) burning out the switch/dipswitch for above.
I'm not sure what the law is over there, but in the UK, it'd get you a pull for sureas well.:
Is there a switch for foglights in the car?
Any wiring behind the bumper?
Personally, I'd replace the standard fogs with drives, and wire as in several threads I've responded to on here.(The last one was titled "Spots on main beam/flash").

Cheers Alcazar - appreciate the reply (one only?!? wassup Scoobyowners!?!).

The law over here isn't that strict - driving lights that don't blind other drivers are allowed. The only time I'd have my sidelights on would be night driving anyway - there's no need usually to have lights on during the day.

I'll check out that other post you mentioned.
