I managed to source some of these for my wagon. I'd like to get some kind of guide as to how to change them / seal them before I try.
Anyone got any useful pointers for me, please?
how easy are they to get the old ones out?
Any tips on how to rewire a fog light to sit in the os reversing light spot? or is there another place it can go?
What's the best way to seal the units so I don't end up with 3" of water in my spare wheel well?
What bulbs do I need to use? - I take it I'll have to buy a load of coloured ones.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
TIA.

I did mine on my 4 door a few weeks ago.
To get the old ones out, heat the black sticky stuff with a hair dryer for about five minutes after un doing the 5 nuts. They should slip straight out if you've heated them sufficiently.
To seal the new ones on, i used common household silicon sealer. Up to press i'm yet to see any water.
Easy once you get going

Brun - you don't want to come round to mine in Wakey and give me a hand do you?
also - what did you do about your rear fog? I can't be arsed in attaching one under the car.
Don't tell me..................

I think most people get rid of one of the reverse lights, as they are not MOT necessary. Put you fog light buld in there (obviously you need a red one) and that should be good enough. Thats what I am going to do when I get round to buying them

I've not got a rear fog light, i hate them with a passion. IMO when you're following a car with then on, they are dazzleing, so in my 8 years of driving i'm yet to use them.
If you really do need a hand, i can pop across, but to be honest it really is easy. If you make a ***** of it drop me an email and i'll come across.
