I cant seem to find anything in the car manual about where to fit the beam deflectors to my MY96 Turbo. I looked on the lights themselves and there didntseem to be an obvious area on it to blank off.
I got a set of clear deflectors from Halfords and they didnt include my model yr!

Does anyone know how I can do this- currently I'm driving around blinding the French- generally I would regard this as a good thing but I think the Police wont see it that way.

Thumbs up

If you look at the lights from the front, there should be an area to the lower LEFT of centre which is what you aim to cover.
The top edge is horizontal, and generally on the same level as the centre horizontal line of the light unit.
The right hand edge runs down approx from centre of light unit to about 30 mm lower.
The left hand edge is closer to the outer edge of the headlight, and extends down about 30 mm lower still, making the whole thing a trapezoid shape.
You should be able to make it out on the lens unit.
If not, use my dimensions as a starting point, and blank off with black tape until you see the "finger" of light cast by the lamp unit ON THE LEFT as you would look out from the car, disappear.(Shine lights onn wall, piece of wood hed up etc).
Once you have the shape, you can peal off the tape and fit deflectors if you wish. I never bother, I just leave the tape in place.
Hope this helps,
Alcazar
