Help needed in adjusting the main beam on my MY02WRX, had it in the dealers for its 1000 mile service and complained that they were too low. So guess what they did...Yes in true fashion its now in the tree tops! Are there any user instructions for these?

I have MY02 with morettes - I rescued the instructions for the lights when I had to have mine refitted as the dealer did a sh1te job the 1st time.

There is a plastic hexagon bolt to adjust the alignment.

I used a big sheet of mdf to mark where mine were and then I adjusted accordingly - UP !

The instructions for fitting are page1 and page2

Hope this helps.

T,
Thanks for that, I've saved it for future reference. Have you by any chance replaced the bulbs with vision plus? If so any noticable difference?

Yes I did replace the dipped beam - there was a difference but not that remarkable. Putting driving lights on with the main +dipped turned night into day!

Just in the process of ordering some driving lamps, gonna go for the Subaru halogens. Had Cibies on my 98 and had nothing but trouble with them.

T, I managed to adjust them at work last night they are much better now.
I noticed that there were 2 adjuster screws, one top and one bottom. Am I right in thinking the top one adjusts the height and the bottom adjusts left/right?

You don't say what year your car is, ie: new age/classic?
On my classic, it's the lower of the two bolts behind the lamp, the one you can't get a socket on unless you "Modified" the bodywork with a hammer when you put them on!!
After that, it's a dark empty carpark, and trial and error.

Edited to say'oh. I really should read the post b4 juming in.:

I got the wr sport ones at a hugely discounted price see here - cost me 105+vat my dealer got the price wrong .

They're a bit of a pig to fit, converting the fogs wiring is a real hoot (not).

The relay wiring is entertaining - infact I was just out locating the relay and mystical 32-pin connector! But decided it was too cold to mess about today.

Oh yes you'll probably want some plastic protectors too - scoobysport do them but I havent got round to fitting them!
