As some will know I have a MY94 WRX Wagon, and it currently has a nice slimline foglight thingy on the bumper under where the numberplate is. Now, some of the LED's in this have failed Thus I'm told it won't get through an MOT. I do NOT want a huge square foglight so:
Anyone know where, and how much a replacement light would be (here's a pic of it)
Or, and this is probably best. How can I relocate the foglight to where it would be on a UK car? ie in the rear lamp cluster. Does the WRX have the 'hole' for the blub? If so then what do I need to do? just chop the existing wires I have, and wire them into a bulb? What things do I need, and where can I get them? Can I get a kit for this kind of thing?
Most importantly, will it pass the MOT?
Thanks for any info.

The 'slimline' light you have is just a 3rd brakelight, you should be able to get one from somewhere like Halfords for a tenner or so, on my STI-V I used a TSL Red bulb and got rid of one of my reversing lights

oooh, interesting. thanks. Might pop off to halfords then!
Red blub from TSL you say, hmm, another cunning plan to give more money to Trouser! I like it! (No offence meant Paul!)
Fancy telling me the cryptic chant of how you did this feat? I'm not too worried about loosing a reverse light.

Markus,
Its really easy mate
Get yourself a 21w Red bulb from TSL or Use red nail varnish on your reversing bulb
Then....
Cut the wires for the slimline fog light jobbie in the boot (+12v & Earth), leave enough wires so you can join them to the existing Reversing light wiring.
Remove boot lining stuff to expose the drivers side rear cluster.
Remove Reversing light bulb.
Snip wires (+12v + Earth) for the Reversing light bulb holder, leave enough to put back to std later if you want.
Wire the 12v cable from your foglight switch which used to go to the Slimline jobbie to the 12v cable on your Reversing light holder, I soldered mine together and covered with heat shrink.
Wire the Earth cable from the old Slimline jobbie to the earth cable on the Reversing bulb holder.
Put Red bulb in.
Stand back and admire much handywork and big yourself up
Get in car have a *** and hit the fog light button, if it works then jobs a goodun, if it keeps blowing fuses dont blame me and your wiring skills are pants lol
