p1 switch illumination

Hi all,
this has been bugging me for weeks now, should the front driving light switch illuminate when you turn the normal lights on?? The little green light lights up when they are on but the little picture of the light never illuminates?????
Help if this makes sense!!!

Its just a sticker over the top of the switch!!!!!
How cheap and tacky is that????

Question

Why not just put a front fog light switch in they illuminate?, should be the same wiring at the back

I think if you peel the sticker off you'll find it is the front fog light switch and it'll illumate
