Guys

Has anyone changed the headlight bulbs on their STI 7.

If so, what did you pick & why etc.

Regards

Shaun

Yes. Vision Plus H1 in the dips. Why? - because they give out better light....

Philips don't, unfortunately, do a Vision Plus HB3 for main yet.

Thanks Dave

Suppose I asked for that, asking why you picked different bulbs - of course for better light.

Branches of Motorworld stock them for £19.99.

Please also see my thread on STi7 bulb confusion. Need to know if I'm going mad.

Cheers for the link ChrisB!

Other than getting caught using them is there any reason I can't use Philips H3 100W rally bulbs mentioned in the link in my main beam in STI7. Any problems with fusing etc. etc.?

HB3 dip beam, and H1 main beam, so H3 don't fit!!!

JGriff

HB3 dipped beam, and H1 in main beam, but Dave says H1 in the dipped beam, and nothing available for the main beam.

Have you changed your STI 7 bulbs to this, if so I guess they work then, and is there a big difference in the amount of light then?

I just fitted Vision Plus H1 - a bit fiddly but light output definitely better.
