MY01 Prodrive Headlights
#1
Just ordered the Prodrive Headlight conversion for my MY01 WRX, about £500.00 plus VAT.
Is this the same as the UK300 front lights?
Has anyone got pictures of what this would look like on a Blue/Black Mica WRX.
Seriously starting to have second thoughts now, someone please assure me that these will look as good as I first envisaged.
Have used the search, but can't find any pictures, on the Morette ones.
Moderators, please leave this here for a little while, hoping for a quick response in case I decide to cancel.

There's a picture here of Nick Adam's MY01 with the Prodrive twin headlamps, sorry but the car isn't black!
Did you want to see a pic of a blue/black with the Morettes? If so here's ours:

Si, are the UK300 lights the same as the ones that I have ordered? If so, I feel much better as these look superb.
Sal, I actually preferred the Morrettes as they could be colour coded, by the time I'd added labour for fitting/painting it worked out about the same as the prodrive/UK300 ones which are black anyway.
I now feel re-assured, thanks for your help.

I have seen some colour coded Prodrive lights which IMHO looks better than just black
However I suppose on the Black Car there shouldn't be toooo much difference

I'd just like to make the point that the Carbon look WRS lights have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with Prodrive, Subaru, UK300 or Hella.
They are a Far East copy of the lights we developed for the UK300 and from what we understand may not even have wiring that is compatable with EU spec vehicles.
Regards
Mike

We've seen the carbon fibre look Prodrive clones over here. They look, as we'd say in the States, "like ***." I have some Prodrive headlights on a silver wagon. They look fanTAStic...very sinister and thuggish, as opposed to the friendliness of the original bug eyes. Fitment is perfect, the guide post that aligns the lights is longer than the stock posts are. Prodrive did a fabulous job. I saw a set that someone had painted, and didn't like 'em at all.

Scoobychick,
doubt your still reading this but just in case, where did you get the rear spoiler from and how much did it cost? Trying to decide whether to try and source a second hand UK300 spoiler or go for something else.
Cheers
