Just taken delivery of some of these lights. I don't need maximum lighting all the time so I was hoping to wire the switching side of the relay so that I can turn them off with the fog light switch, ie run the link between high beam and scoobysport relay back to the dash foglight switch. Has anyone done this, I haven't investigated what's involved in getting to the back of the switch yet, will I have to remove much dash? What wattage are the fog lights?

Cool

Don't try getting behind the dash switch! Do it like this:
Buy another relay, (Halfords abt £5.00)
Now working from the old foglight connections, find out which is live, using a proper test lamp, or a wire and bulb connected to earth(battery -ve).
Link from foglight live to relay terminal 85. Scotchliks are good here. Tape up this connection to prevent water ingress. Relay terminal 86 goes to earth. Take feed from headlight mainbeam to relay terminal 30, and from relay terminal 87 to NEW DRIVING LIGHT RELAY TERMINAL 85 ie: this feed has gone through the newly bought relay, instead of direct to the one supplied with the new driving lights.
If you get stuck, e-mail me , or mail me for my phone number, but it really is easy, about 10 minute's extra work.
Hope this is of use.

Fitted, thanks again. Took my time and followed the instructions to the letter. Pushed the switch and....nothing. Arrrrgh!

Worked back from the lights, took them off again, checked all the connections, all okay. Your relay was switching but not the Scoobysport one. AHA, bust relay says I. However, in the process of swapping them over I realised that Scoobysport had connected their relay up the wrong way!! Confusion over and I now have some excellent lights and know how to wire a relay.
