Just been looking for one as fitting a new head unit, and found this.

Do you have a link to what you mean? I just cut the loom off the rear of old stereo, and plan to splice wires to new loom.

I don't need stuff on a plate. It's just that's not the correct connection for my head unit. I gave one of those away not long ago.

I've now cut loom off the rear of the standard headunit and wired it into the loom for the new headunit.

Mate the adapter connects to the standard wiring turning it into iso configuration. Depending on the headunit it might not be iso compatible in that case you will need another adapter from your headunit going into iso.

I understand. And know what a standard ISO looks like. Just didn't know what the other part was called.

Lol cheers. The online guide wasn't 100% but worked it out. Tested headunit and seems to work ok. Although not impressed with the headunit. So might look for better one. That may have a standard adaptor.
