Default Defi controller.

Does any body know if a defi controller can be fixed. Had problems with it shorting out. Upon inspection the little prongs on the circuit board that go in to the connectors were snapped. So now nothing works, is this a repair or renewal? My boost gauge has stuck at full boost as a result can this be reset? Any help thx. 😤

this can be repaired, if its just a case of snapped pins then you would need to open it up unsolder the mess and try replace the pins or make up a new plug. anyone with electrical and soldering knowledge could do this for you.

Once connected to the controller it will sort itself. Mine arrived like that.

Right I'm lost? Got hold of another controller plugged it in like the other turbo gauge still reading and stuck at full boost and others dancing about all over the place if I tap the oil pressure gauge all the illumination goes out and needles jump about..I'm guessing I have a faulty meter?

Sounds like a faulty connection? Make sure the daisy chain connectors are nicely pressed home and that the wires to them are tightly in.

Sussed it. My oil pressure gauge someone has opened it up for some reason and the circuit board inside is all loose and shorting out?. Expensive way ti po find out ,bought a second hand set up with no pod as I had that. Upon removing the old gauges I then noticed the back or the culprit gauge. So really only needed one gauge so I now have a spare kit....
