Hi all

My alarm system seems to have started playing up a bit, anyone ever experienced their indicator lights not flashing when arming and disarming their alarm?

Worked around a week ago, hazards and indicators work as normal. Anyone got any bright ideas?

It can only be one of three things - setting in the alarm has been disabled (if such a setting even exists), wiring fault from alarm output to the hazards, or relay or similar component failing/starting to fail in the alarm itself. I've got no specific experience of the problem myself, but given the car's age it wouldn't surprise me if the alarm unit was the culprit.

 

There isn't such a setting, at least not described in any of the documentation I can find.
