Default Bugeye HID headlights question

Hi just got some STI HID headlights for my WRX just want to know what beam is the HID bulb main or dip beam.

Dip. It's always the dip if only one is done.

Make sure to wire them so the dip stays on with high or else you have a dead patch when coming off main.

Brilliant thanks guys. but i may just sell them on as lights on my WRX seem pretty good as standard.

Unless they are second hand and the bulbs are worn out. I recently replaced the HID bulbs on my car, I knew they weren't great but didn't realise just how poor they became until I replaced them.
