Default What are these 2 wires?

Hi looking for help on what these 2 wires are?
They are attached to the maf loom,the 3 pin maf plug is unplugged and a temp sensor wired in to these 2 wires( running mafless)

Ahh well I never found out what these 2 wires are for!
I still can't believe a pro mapper would make a half arsed attempt at fitting an IAT sensor! It's clearly not been wired up correctly,maybe just wired like this to fool the customer that it was done right??
Anyway I got a lot of help from one of the other forums. Looks like I'm going to have to re-wire the sensor,scale the sensor and take some logs so I can set compensation tables.
Work like this can't do any good for the pro mappers! Job was only done last month,waste of the previous owners money by the looks of it!!
