Default Pro sport oil pressure gauge-flashing...

So new to the scooby scene and have purchased a 2005 sti type UK with pro sport gauges. The oil pressure gauge has started flashing after having a play with the buttons!! It still reads the pressure fine but the flashing lights is slightly annoying....
I've tried a reset and checked the pro sport instructions to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hold down the button and you can set the point the warning flash activates

Set it to half a bar below your lowest oil pressure at hot idle or otherwise it will be going off at idle all the time

Set it at one bar
This is assuming your car has oil pressure.

Possibly because, as intimated by FT, you still have the alarm point st too high.

Hot idle is around 2 bar.
Cold idle will be 6 to 7 bar
Running at temp will be 5 to 6 bar.
Obviously dependent on oil grade as thicker oil will change it slightly.
So the minimum pressure you should run is around 2 bar,set the warning at 1 bar and it shouldn't go off unless an issue is there

I'd set mine for about 0.2 bar under hot idle.

The higher the setting, the better, it warns of impending failure. Set it too low, the car is fekked before it goes off...a bit like the "engine fukced" warning light, also called an oil pressure warning light.
