Which fog lights do I have?
Hey guys! First post, so be kind!
So I have a 2003 wrx turbo sl ppp. I need to replace the nearside front fog, but I'm struggling to work out which one I need! I took a look at one off a bugeye but it seems to be too big.
My car looks like this at the front :-
Looking at the back of the bugeye fog, it looked like this:-
But the back of mine look totally different. Help!

Yeah I know it's a blobeye. Its just, everywhere I look seems to list the foglights as 2000-2003. I assume all blobeyes have the same foglights? Or are the ones with prodrive any different? Am I right in saying sti's don't come with foglights? So I would need to find one specifically from a non sti wrx blobeye? Thanks

Well, the first bit refers to your first post "so be kind!" and now you're up to 4
....and the second bit is that fog lights are of no use whatsoever other than to successfully annoy me whenever I see someone with them on in the following situations in order of decreasing annoyance:
When it is not foggy or snowing - ie illegal use
When it is misty - ie illegal use
When it is foggy during daylight hours - Why?
When it is foggy at night - completely useless as their range dictates you can only drive at 10 - 20 mph.
Dip and main beam are much better for fog and snow.
....and.....calm.....

Oh uhm..it's not so much about using them, they both work fine. The left one has a couple of little holes in it and it's all fogged up and going horrible inside, so I want to replace either the lens cover or the whole unit. Subaru want £50 just for the cover so I was trying to find one at a breakers or so but they'll only sell the whole unit of course.
I quite like the aesthetics of fog lights, otherwise I'd just buy the covers. I have one shiny one and one that looks crap

You checked out ebay?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...item35d79b3870
I'd take the dealer price........
Or replace with these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIVERSAL-...item25846a84ee
Might be able to wire 'em up from driving lights.
