Default Door card failure

Hi there, took the door cards off the passenger door to adjust the door glass height as the rear was catching. Halfway through the job the stereo cut out and the alarm starting playing up, the driver window switch doesn't do anything and the passenger side glass now moves really slowly back up.
Stereo works again but car won't start, just clicks. Centre led flashes really quick and the key flashes on the dash.
Is this an earth problem, bearing in mind I haven't really tampered with anything electrical.
Window no longer catches on door though:-)
Any advice

Are u sure you havnt just drained the battery ?? slow windows/ clicking starter mtr/ alarm playing up are all symptoms of a duff battery. Put some jump leads on it to rule it out..
