A silly question perhaps but do I really have to disconnect & remove the battery from a (rarely used) MY99 classic Turbo 2000 before connecting a fully automatic trickle charger (a.k.a. Smartcharger)? :-/

Ctek battery conditioner are gret, used one on my old classic for about 5 years with no probs
