Looking at getting a new head unit for the hatch a double din one, the o.e one looks double din size? However I'm seeing kits to fit a double din unit? So im guessing the o.e isn't double din size as the new age o.e units were?

 

No mate its slightly bigger ,, you can buy the adapters or japanparts do a replacment panel with the right size whole

 

Apparently Oem Jdm dash panels are double din?
