Morning guys hope all is well,
Just a quicky, noticed my phone charger wasn't working in the car so bought a new charger and plugged it in, Then heard the fans kick in? Took the charger out of the slot fans stop, keep em plugged it and fans don't stop and keep running, Engine was cold at the time.
Anything I should check as what might be causing this to happen..

As always any help and advice appreciated.

 

Check all fuses for a start....the way modern car wiring is, it's possible for the current to route itself back through things.

You don't say what car, what model, what year.

If it's an older car, suspect an earth fault too.

Could well be a poor earth somewhere then.

Classic are noted for it.

 

Any common places mate?

 

Not really, no.

Mine has an earthing kit fitted, did it myself, but it's hard to say what MIGHT have gone wrong without it.
