standard double din not working ?

standard double din not working ?
Sold mine to someone but its not working. Its a black cd/cassette standard double din from a 2002 Bugeye Sti.
Is there a common fault or easy fix rather than him binning it and me giving his money back ? I never seen it working , I just kept it as it was passed on to me from previous owner who had already swaped it to single din.
It's just doing nothing. No power/lights/sound.
