These lights uses 12V5W capless bulb and it gets really hot after a few minutes when light up. I fitted 12V10W capless bulb to the trunk and find that it is not that hot to touch after several minutes. I fitted the 10w bulb bcos thats the only one available at my garage. Question is this ok ie fitting a 10w bulb where 5w is specify ? Noticed not much difference in brightness.

 

Should be fine, another 5W is barely any current, the wiring to those bulbs can carry up to 11A.
