Headlight problem.

Headlight problem.

When the car is running and i switch on the sidelights/headlights, they wont turn back off unless i turn the engine off.

Any suggestions?

By the way i have a 2000 WRX.

First off check that the switch on top of the steering column hasn't been turned on.

After that, it could be the lighting switch, or a sticky relay.

i though it was the switch on the steering column at first but it isnt.

i will have a go of the other suggestions. Thanks!
