After several pm's and phone call I made the 300 mile round trip with cash in my pocket (agreed price) to purchase the WRX. I was sadly disappointed with the condition. 2 rear tyres 1mm above the wear bar, nearside lower wing had rust appearing from under the skirt, several large areas where the paint work had worn into the undercoat, dents larger than 'car door dings.' Wind strip on drivers side had been broken and badly repaired.
Was then told turbo timer and dump valve had been removed to go onto new car and I'd need a 90^ samaco to make the one that had been refitted sit properly. Jack was in the boot but no handle/wheel brace. Oh and the drivers seat was very worn.
All very annoying when you've been told it's spot on, no rust etc etc..
I hope the person doing the advertised px has a good look around it.. As the pictures really don't show it in it's true light and neither did your pm' and verbal descriptions.

This guy does not have a fookin clue what he's on about am a member of another forum which has members on here and anyone one of them will tell you about this car,with regard PX and the price agreed was the price that was agreed to PX so thought I would give some one a chance to own the car,gave this chap the chance which I did not have to as PX was already agreed, so if he wants a show room car he will have to dig alot foookin deeper than £2700 which he tried knocking me down to begin with,as to the time he looked over the car he looked for about 5 mins never went out in the car to which I offered,if he was bothered that much about the body he could have made it is own car and done what so called needed doing to make it his own.So not only has he so called wasted his time he has wasted mine as I could have had the wagon by now,in a word dick head comes to mind as all he said when he was here it does not look as clean as the pics,the pics were taken on a sunny day and this morning was dull as fook so it would not look as shinny rant over.

Ridiculous rant. I came to see it based on your description. I don't care how many forums you use, you wasted my time misdescribing the car.
I don't expect a 'show' car, just an honest car that was as described. We agreed on a price before hand and had it been as described I would have gladly handed you the cash in my pocket.
Try being honest in future.
I was only there 10 mins as in that time I'd found rust, evidence of repair, tyres with less than 1mm of legal tread, undescribed paint and trim damage - all of which I'd asked about and to top it off you had removed items that were pictured plus I needed to buy a hose for the dump valve.
Having seen the above and knowing there was no price movement it was pointless wasting any more of my time.
As for not knowing what I'm talking about.. I've been a vechile inspector for 10 years.
