Default New Clutch

Guys,

Went to the garage this morning.
Mechanic thinks the clutch is on its way out and will need a replacement.

He's told me to keep on driving since it hasnt started slipping and I might as well use it until it starts.

Car is an MY05 UK STI with 41K
Remapped to approx 335bhp/330lbft
Car is a daily driver, with a mix of spirited driving.

When it needs replacing, should I buy a different type of clutch or just replace it like for like?

I see all sorts of talk on different types and don't know which is better or if its better because of personal taste?

Any thoughts.

An idea on pricing would be good too.
Clutch cost
Labour costs plus an idea on fitting time?

Thanks,

Shaun
