while installing my stereo i let the positive touch the metal player insert and it fecked up a few things.

(1) clock on dash
(2) door light on dash
(3) coutersy light
(4) alarm sytem not working properly now
(5) central ocking not working

Ive checked all the fuses in eng bay and beneath steering wheel, and there was only one gone, which was the clock/radio. Replaced it and still dosent work.

Any comments would be much appreciated, as long as they are not slagging me about how big a d@@khead i am and how much bother im having with the car, like my family!!

 

mate have you checked the big slow blow fuses in the engine bay ive a few spares in my tool box if it is one of them

 

now you dont think you would get a slagging on here do you.

As said above defo sounds like u have taken a fuse out somewhere

fuse after fuse after fuse kept blowing until i found a broken wire deep behind cente console. whoever had this car before me were cfomplete numpties! there was a fuses that were in the wrong places as well!!
