Hey up dude,

I'm up for it again

Marakesh? That was talked about last time, sounded good to me - we could have a couple of days stop over there for example

Happy to go with the flow tho mate

I quite like the idea that Mrk discussed of a week based around the Ring with trips out during the day (optional ) and a few laps of the Ring in the evenings, when it's relatively quiet. Not sure if I like the idea of the hop over to Morocco. I've heard the mountains are spectacular, but that the roads could be better, and what about insurance/recovery going out of Europe? Trip down through the Iberian peninsula would be different, definitely want to avoid the hotter parts of the year though! How about the South of France/Monaco/Italy route that was initially mentioned for last year's trip too? And of course I'm still keen to do Scotland and North Wales some time too.

A few ideas for the cooking pot!

Day Trips to Stelvio :-o

Cheers guys

We are looking at EC08 might be a different format as the trip although brilliant was a financial disaster :-(

EB09 investing Insurance and breakdown as you speak, it might just be too difficult but with new infrastructure could be well worth the effort.

MRK and looking at Morroco Recce soon, Im driving West coast of France recce later this year and spain.

How about Dubai??

Get the cars on a container ship and transported out there and we can fly to meet them and then drive on the F1 circuit

Probably wouldn't be as bad as you think - it would certainly be different!

It would of course mean being without the scoob for a few weeks whilst it's being transported out there - and again, on the way back!! mmmmmmmm

Depending where I am I may join up and do the french / Spain bit

I know some of you have a few bob but in France and Spain there are decent no frills hotels called Formule1 from 25euros a night incl 1 breakfast, a bargain and an experience, very clean etc just shared showers / toilets, book in advance tho or Etap hotels at around 40 euros with en-suite stuff, no need for top expensive places, you get the same bread, jam and coffee

The Italian lakes would be a good drive going from Turin over to the lakes then onto Lake Lugano into Switzerland, did it a couple of years back, top places
