What do you need for driving in france/germany?

I have sorted car insurance but what about car requirements? eg spare bulb kit? warning triange

I saw mentioned some where that they dont like radar detectors!!

You should take with you:

Warning Triangle
Spare Bulb Kit
First Aid Kit (reccomended)
Headlight converters

Regarding Detectors, the french are very tough on these so I wouldn't let it be seen or used.

Remember your travel insurance, Insurance Green Card and Breakdown cover.
